Opening | Joy Giver Volunteer

Ages 6 Years and Older
Joy Givers and Junior Joy Givers volunteer their time and talent in the Resounding Joy Mindful Music» program to provide social / musical visits to individual older adults in skilled-nursing facilities. Resounding Joy trains Joy Giver volunteers to engage these residents in basic rhythm activities, listening to live or recorded music, simple conversation about musical preferences and experiences, and singing. It is not necessary to be a musician in order to become a Joy Giver to the many older adults yearning for personal social interaction.

Opening | Joy Maker Volunteer

Youth, Teens, and Adults
Joy Maker volunteers are the many hands that help the small Resounding Joy staff make events and programs a success. As music therapy advocates of all ages, Joy Makers help Resounding Joy make music for health and happiness. Joy Maker volunteer schedules are very flexible. Typical activities include administrative assistance, event assistance, and fundraising assistance.
